There are a lot of different places to study surveying and many different levels to which you can study to. The tables below give a basic idea of what type of job you may be offered after studying to certain levels. It is purely a guide and is in no way a 'rule' in all circumstances (for example, you may be able to get a job higher on the list than shown for each level of study). In some circumstances, Mine Surveyors with experience can be trained into a Mining Engineering role; therefore further increasing the attractiveness of this line of education.
